Southern Tide Headquarters Named in SC Biz News 2025 Top Projects

SC Biz News has selected the Southern Tide headquarters to receive a 2025 Top Projects Award. Southern Tide is a premium coastal lifestyle apparel brand. The Upstate-founded business recently moved into the renovated historic Borden Building, located at 711 West Washington Street, Suite 101, in Greenville.

Top Projects is a recognition program that honors the best building and construction projects in South Carolina over a 12-month span. It’s a yearly look back at the innovative work over the previous year and how these plans and projects remade the landmarks of the past or established the landmarks of the future.

Projects were judged on the following criteria: degree of difficulty, creativity in design, innovative construction techniques, cooperation among contractors, management and in some cases government, adaptive reuse and sustainability efforts. Projects must have been built in South Carolina and completed between January-December 2024. Winners of the 2025 Top Projects Awards were chosen by the SC Biz News leadership team.

“The 2025 Top Projects Awards are changing the landscape of South Carolina, showcasing innovation and mindfulness as they reshape The Palmetto State’s future,” said Jason Thomas, executive editor of SC Biz News. “We at SC Biz News applaud these individuals and businesses who are preparing South Carolina’s landscape for its continued economic growth.”

Honorees will be recognized during an online video celebration on Sept. 30 featuring digital content including photos and project overviews, social media blurbs, and coverage in the print edition of SC Biz News and on SCBizNews.com. The hashtag is #SCBIZevents.
