York Technical College, Learning Commons

Following our feasibility study for the YTC Learning Commons, our team was awarded the permanent improvement project for this renovation and expansion of the Anne Springs Close Library. This 34,000-SF facility transformed the library into a state-of-the-art Learning Commons, serving as the campus centerpiece and cultural core of the college. In addition to the traditional library functions, it also includes a bookstore, a grab-and-go cafe, classrooms, offices, meeting rooms and maker spaces, as well as additional storage and stacks.
