Wofford College, Jerry Richardson Indoor Stadium

The Jerry Richardson Indoor Stadium at Wofford College reflects the character of classic basketball venues while meeting the expectations of today’s athletes and campus community. The 123,000 SF facility creates an inviting, high-energy environment that supports both competition and connection.

Built for Competition, Designed to Bring Campus Together

The stadium includes a 3,400-seat basketball arena and a 350-seat volleyball venue, each designed to support collegiate-level play. Beyond athletics, the facility serves as a central gathering space, accommodating up to 4,500 guests for events ranging from graduation ceremonies to concerts.

Where Student and Fan Energy Fuels a Homecourt Advantage

A defining feature of the stadium is “The Boneyard,” a dedicated student section with its own entertainment area. With a concessions bar, large-format displays, integrated charging stations, and dedicated Wi-Fi, the space encourages early arrival and social interaction. By prioritizing the student experience, the design strengthens campus culture and creates a true homecourt advantage.

Club 51 provides a premium experience for club seat holders, featuring four concession stands and a full-service kitchen. These amenities support efficient service while creating a more comfortable and engaging game-day environment.
