Volvo Car Americas Corporate Training Center
As part of South Carolina’s successful recruitment of Volvo’s North American manufacturing facility, a new corporate training center was designed to support workforce training and industry growth. Located near Interstate 26 and adjacent to Volvo’s production campus, the facility serves the automotive industry and the surrounding community.
Flexible workforce training environments for changing technology
The 50,000 SF, two-story facility provides hands-on, technically advanced learning. At its core is a flexible, simulated work environment that can be reconfigured as technology evolves. The training floor includes practical training bays with car lifts and robotic systems for a range of real-world scenarios.
Dedicated bays support finishing, painting, and vehicle inspection, while an on-site demonstration driving course provides applied learning opportunities.
The second floor includes large lecture rooms, administrative offices, and a variety of teaming and collaboration spaces. Specialized environments such as a safety training room and a car systems lab with meeting areas support group instruction and hands-on learning.
