The Waterfront, Daniel Island
The Waterfront, Daniel Island’s newest neighborhood, celebrates the Lowcountry’s riverfront lifestyle with refined architecture and immersive amenities. This mixed-use community is part of five-phase, 27-building development. The master plan features approximately 300 condominiums across 21 buildings, complemented by townhomes, retail spaces, and public amenities that bring the neighborhood to life.
Timeless Lowcountry Design on the Waterfront
Working with the landscape, planning, and development teams, McMillan Pazdan Smith brought architectural cohesion to every building element. From the restaurant complex and amenity spaces to the residential prototypes, the design embraces traditional proportions, light-filled interiors, and outdoor living spaces with views of the Wando River.
The Waterfront community also includes a restaurant with a rooftop bar overlooking the Wando River. Public green spaces, resort-style pool, and fitness facility promote an active community atmosphere. The neighborhood connects directly to the new Daniel Island Waterfront Park and more than 25 miles of walking and biking trails, reinforcing an active and social lifestyle.
Sustainable by Design
Sustainability and stewardship are key to the community’s long-term vision. Phase II is on track to achieve LEED certification, and Phase III was designed to be Net-Zero Ready. The Waterfront is a model for responsible coastal development that balances luxury with environmental sensitivity.
