The Bellwether Public House

Located adjacent to the popular Fluor Field in Greenville’s West End, The Bellwether Public House offers a fun and comfortable atmosphere with a variety of seating spaces. The restaurant includes a full dining room, two bars, and a back patio with an activity space and a view to the entrance of the field.

McMillan Pazdan Smith previously worked with Urban Wren to design their new restaurant and winery in 2019. Based on that successful relationship, we were asked to renovate this 8,000 SF interior space that was formerly Liberty Tap Room. Our team updated nearly every aspect, from lighting to flooring to the outdoor patio, resulting in a more open space. We relocated the bar to the Main Street-facing side of the building which features 18 seats and large tilt-out windows. Another bar in the back of the restaurant features seating for 10 at the counter and additional 10 high top tables. The back patio seats 72 (plus dogs) and also includes an activity area with yard games and large screen for sports viewing.
