The Alliance
The Alliance is a new 100-unit, affordable housing community designed to expand access to high-quality, attainable housing for Greenville, SC residents. Developed through the Low-Income Housing Tax Credit (LIHTC) program, the mixed-use project includes two, four-story buildings on 3.6 acres and supports households earning 70% or below the area median income.
Expanding Affordable Housing Options with Community Amenities and Mixed-Use Spaces
The community offers a range apartments with deeply affordable units allocated across income levels to meet a range of household needs.
Alongside housing, The Alliance includes 4,200 SF of commercial space to support neighborhood services and economic activity. Outdoor areas are designed to promote safety, well-being, and connection. A central plaza links the two buildings, while the rear of the property features green space, a playground, and preserved mature oak trees at the southeast corner of the site. The architectural character will complement the area’s eclectic style, while promoting a forward-thinking urban design approach for the future.
