SEW-Eurodrive Campus
The SEW-Eurodrive Campus development transforms a 180-acre site in Duncan and Lyman, South Carolina into a cohesive, future-ready manufacturing environment. The campus balances new construction with renovations, aligning existing facilities with next-generation production while strengthening overall campus performance.
Facilities Support Advanced Manufacturing and Workforce Wellbeing
At the east end of campus, new facilities that support advanced manufacturing include the Smart Factory, IG Assembly Plant and Office, and Maxolution Showroom. On the west end, renovations modernize existing buildings from the 1980s, improving functionality and extending their lifespan. Updates to entrance lobbies and office spaces enhance daily operations while creating a more consistent experience across the campus.
The campus includes spaces designed to support employee well-being, collaboration, and engagement. A freestanding fitness and conference center provides space for training, meetings, and wellness, while a child development center supports employees and their families. These additions reflect a broader shift toward campuses that function as complete environments for both work and daily life.
A Cohesive SEW-Eurodrive Campus Identity
A consistent architectural and branding approach connects the campus to SEW facilities worldwide while features significant to South Carolina were also incorporated. Materials such as wood accents and weathered steel introduce warmth and durability, and custom canopies define entrances and create a recognizable visual language.
