Radiance Technologies, Phases I + II

Radiance Technologies created a new multi-phase campus for its growing aerospace and defense operations. Located in Huntsville’s Cummings Research Park, the project provides office, laboratory, and high-bay environments designed to support engineering, testing, and advanced research programs.

Phase I: Integrated Office, Laboratory, and High-Bay Facility

Phase I included a new 103,000 SF facility featuring a three-story office building connected to a high-bay manufacturing and laboratory space. The high-bay area includes a crane with a 30-foot hook height, a clean room supporting precision assembly and testing, an electronics laboratory, and a mezzanine storage area.

The office portion of the building provides workspace for approximately 200 employees at Radiance Technologies. A two-story lobby creates a welcoming entry for staff and visitors. The facility also includes a large conference room with movable partitions, as well as a break room and fitness center to support employee wellness and collaboration.

Phase II: Creating a Secure and Flexible Technology Campus

Phase II expanded the company’s headquarters with a new 110,000 SF office and laboratory building adjacent to the original facility. The three-story building includes offices, laboratory space, conference rooms, and four high-bay areas designed to support specialized engineering and testing programs.

Several areas of the building were designed to meet specific security construction requirements. These spaces support sensitive programs while maintaining the flexibility needed for evolving research and development activities.
