Prisma Health, PACE Senior Care
The Prisma Health PACE Senior Care Center in Upstate South Carolina was designed to support the growing needs of seniors requiring chronic care while promoting independence and community living. As the region’s first Program of All-Inclusive Care for the Elderly (PACE) center, it gives seniors an alternative to nursing home care. All services are offered under one roof, creating a seamless continuum of care.
Comprehensive Senior Care Facility Supporting Independence and Quality of Life
The 20,000 SF building includes a clinic with on-site physicians, a physical therapy suite, and a medication dispensary. These features support care at the center and extend into participants’ homes. Therapy areas replicate daily living spaces, including a kitchen and bathroom, to help seniors practice safety and build confidence.
The center also includes a catering kitchen and administrative suite to support daily operations. Together, these spaces create a welcoming environment where seniors can access medical, social, and rehabilitative services. The design helps participants maintain dignity, independence, and strong connections to their community.
