One of the fastest growing cities in Georgia, Pooler sits as a gateway to historic Savannah. Amid the town’s surge of commercial development, McMillan Pazdan Smith was commissioned to design two retail outparcels adjacent to the Village on Pooler Parkway, a 20-acre lifestyle center sited just north of the I-26 / I-95 intersection.
To incorporate the national and international retail tenants into a cohesive design identity, our team worked closely with both the developer and the individual tenants to ensure the project met cost and schedule demands. Both buildings evoke a modern design aesthetic cohesive with neighboring retail parcels, further enhancing this rapidly growing commercial corridor.
Pooler Building #1 is an 8,400 SF free-standing building with 3 restaurant tenants: Tijuana Flats, McAlister’s Deli, and Starbucks, with a drive-thru lane for the coffee shop. At 5,231 SF, Pooler Building #2 houses 2 restaurants: Chipotle Mexican Grill and Five Guys Burgers. Both buildings include outdoor seating areas.
