Plasman, the first Chinese tier-one automotive supplier in South Carolina, developed a 238,000 SF facility to support its growing manufacturing operations. The building was designed to align with Plasman’s global production standards while meeting the rigorous expectations of OEM clients.

Integrated manufacturing systems for high-volume production

The Plasman facility supports a full range of automotive part production, including injection molding, painting, and first-tier assembly. High-performance systems drive efficiency across the plant, including fully automated robotic paint lines, a resin feeding system with external silos, and an Automated Retrieval System (ARS) for high-bay storage.

Sixteen injection molding machines of varying sizes allow for flexible production, while overhead cranes ranging from 10-ton to 75-ton capacity support material handling and equipment movement throughout the facility.

Built for efficiency and long-term operations

Constructed with precast concrete load-bearing wall panels and a steel column and roof truss structure, the Plasman building balances durability with cost-effective construction. Approximately 30,000 SF of office and support space provides areas for administration, workforce amenities, and operational oversight.
