This modern facility in Ayden, NC supports their operational efficiency, enabling faster and more streamlined product distribution.

Tilt-Up Construction and Design-Build for Speed + Efficiency

McMillan Pazdan Smith teamed with Frampton Construction and The Keith Corporation to deliver this facility using a tilt-up construction and design-build approach. Tilt-up construction, which involves casting concrete panels on-site and lifting them into place, is a faster and cost-effective build while maintaining flexibility in design. The integration of tilt-up panels with ACM (Aluminum Composite Material) elements in the lobby creates a seamless blend of durability and visual appeal.

Minges Bottling Group’s New Facility Blends Functionality with Bold Design

The building’s design includes branding and imagery that combines a retro aesthetic with contemporary elements. Private offices incorporate significant glass elements, allowing sunlight to filter into open workspaces. The new lobby celebrates the Pepsi-Cola’s legacy while providing a welcoming space for employees and visitors. The building’s layout was designed so the C-suite, directors’ wing, call center, and logistics warehouse function cohesively while maintaining distinct identities.
