Prisma Health, MD360 Greer Convenient Care
The design of MD360 Greer allows for an urgent and convenient care practice to provide patients with faster, comprehensive diagnoses and care through onsite physical therapy, laboratory services, and imaging technology. As a practice that provides evaluation and management of individual healthcare matters on a walk-in basis, McMillan Pazdan Smith worked closely with the owner to identify the needs of physicians, staff, and patients and created a functional design that promotes a collaborative environment for increased patient care. Communication and careful budgeting were critical, the design priority high, and the schedule condensed. Additionally, sustainably measures and proper solar orientation increased the building’s energy efficiency and comfort. The 14,000 SF facility includes eight exam rooms, four procedure rooms, two bariatric exam rooms, physical therapy spaces, central bullpens for physicians and nursing staff, laboratory, radiology, and storage. A large community room with a central patient services area forms a core with access to the waiting room, Proaxis Physical Therapy suite, and clinical areas.
