Lockheed Martin, Welcome Center
Following the successful delivery of a 160,000 SF warehouse project, Lockheed Martin selected our team to design a welcome center. The company needed a dedicated facility on the Greenville campus to support its highly visible F-16 rollout ceremonies. These events mark the official delivery of completed aircraft to partner nations and bring together representatives from the Department of Defense, international governments, military organizations, and political leaders.
A Flexible Venue for Aviation, Events, and Operations
Located outside the secure perimeter, the welcome center was designed as a hangar-style facility that serves public-facing and operational needs. The 27,706 SF building provides a climate-controlled environment for more up to 800 attendees throughout the year.
Integrated technology infrastructure allows the space to host large-scale events and presentations. Dedicated office space and support functions help meet the day-to-day needs of Lockheed Martin’s Greenville campus.
Beyond its role as an event venue, the welcome center serves as Lockheed Martin’s onboarding center for new employees including aviation technicians, engineers, program managers and other experienced personnel. It also includes office and medical support spaces that contribute to daily campus operations.
