First Watch

First Watch is expanding its nationwide presence with restaurants serving fresh, seasonal breakfast, brunch, and lunch. Since the early 2020s, our design team has supported the brand’s growth through a portfolio of tenant upfits, building conversions, and ground-up restaurants in markets across the country.

Each 3,500- to 4,000-square-foot project begins with a test-fit layout developed by the First Watch corporate team. Our designers translate that initial plan into a complete package of permit and construction documents. We apply brand standards and adapt the restaurant’s interior kit of parts to each site, building type, and local jurisdiction.

This repeatable yet flexible process helps First Watch maintain a consistent guest experience while addressing the unique requirements of each location. The Hanover, Massachusetts, restaurant pictured here involved the upfit of a first-generation end-cap tenant space within a new retail development.
