Cresswind at the Ponds
Cresswind at the Ponds in Summerville, SC is an active senior living community designed to promote wellness, recreation, and social connection. Kolter Homes selected McMillan Pazdan Smith and Design Environments, Inc. to design the community’s amenity clubhouse.
The design team began with an amenity master plan to align the clubhouse with resident needs and the overall community vision. The result is a single-story, 12,000 SF clubhouse offering resort-style amenities that enrich daily life.
Resort-Style Amenities that Encourage Wellness and Community
Residents at Cresswind at the Ponds enjoy a swimming pool with lap lanes, pickleball, tennis, and bocce courts. Indoor amenities include a state-of-the-art fitness room, a multi-purpose aerobics room, and dedicated spaces for cards and billiards. A lounge and bar area provide additional opportunities for social connection.
The clubhouse design also reflects its Lowcountry setting with larger porches, outdoor pavilions, and regionally appropriate materials. These features create a welcoming and comfortable environment that supports an active, engaged lifestyle for seniors.
