BMW, Manufacturing Office Area A
BMW Manufacturing needed to modernize an existing 14,600 SF office area on their Spartanburg, SC campus while aligning the workplace with evolving organizational needs and BMW’s open office standards. The goal was to create a more collaborative and flexible environment while accommodating additional employees within the existing footprint.
A Workplace Designed for Collaboration and Choice
The renovation transformed the office into a modern workplace centered on flexibility, communication, and employee comfort. The design incorporated panel-free workstations, centralized and departmental collaboration areas, meeting rooms of varying sizes, and shared storage solutions to support a range of work styles and team interactions.
Access to natural light and exterior views was prioritized throughout the space, while a variety of work settings provide employees with options for focused work, informal collaboration, and team meetings.
More Office Space for People and Productivity
Through strategic space planning and workplace design, the renovated office increased potential occupancy by 28% while also expanding conference and collaboration space. The result is a more efficient, adaptable office space that supports productivity, teamwork, and the evolving needs of BMW Manufacturing’s workforce.
