BlueCross BlueShield of Georgia is a three-story office building designed to consolidate operations into a single, modern service center. The 245,000 SF facility supports 2,000 employees and serves as the primary hub for its three million Georgia members.

A Centralized Service Hub Designed to Support Workforce Efficiency, Wellness, and Long-term Growth

The BlueCross BlueShield building replaces an aging facility dating to 1958 along with a smaller leased office, bringing together the organization’s largest concentration of employees in one location. Two wings are connected by a light-filled atrium with over 36,000 SF of glass, creating clear wayfinding and shared gathering space.

Designed for employee wellness and operational efficiency, the facility includes a cafeteria, fitness center, patio, and a walking path. Sustainable features such as LED lighting, occupancy sensors, and low-flow plumbing fixtures contribute to long-term efficiency and reduced operational costs. The result is a flexible, future-ready workplace that supports collaboration, employee well-being, and the delivery of healthcare services across the state.
