Anchor Health & Rehab in Aiken, SC expanded its nursing facility to strengthen therapy and rehabilitation services. The 32,000 SF addition includes 40 private rooms and 10 semi-private rooms.

A Design That Supports Rehabilitation Services for Seniors

The design centers on wellness and recovery. A large therapy and rehabilitation gym provides advanced equipment, private treatment rooms, and a home-like suite with bedroom, bath, and kitchen. This setup allows residents to safely practice daily routines before returning home.

New social spaces at Anchor Health & Rehab encourage connection and comfort. These include sunrooms, dining areas, a bistro, and multiple living spaces. A landscaped courtyard enhances recovery with both active and passive areas. Features include walking paths, bridges, a putting green, shaded porches, trellises, and a water feature.

The addition complements the residential character of the existing facility and the surrounding neighborhood. Together, these improvements expand Anchor Health & Rehab’s capacity to deliver comprehensive care and successful rehabilitation outcomes.
