SEW-Eurodrive, West Lobby and Office Renovation

After a significant expansion to their manufacturing facility in 2013, SEW-Eurodrive commissioned McMillan Pazdan Smith again to provide renovations to the exterior, lobby, and existing plant. Charged with the mission of updating the façade of an existing facility to better reflect the Client’s corporate identity and create a more visually cohesive campus, while keeping disruption of current operations to a minimum, our team generated a design utilizing the existing structure and re-using existing glazing, while incorporating new elements to transform the building aesthetic.

An existing glass barrel vaulted entry element was removed and replaced with an updated roof structure, along with a new canopy creating an aesthetic link to the nearby campus. The renovated entry lobby features a completely re-envisioned interior layout, which highlights the corporate brand and creates opportunities to showcase the Client’s product, while also addressing functional reception and security concerns.
