Lander Centennial Hall

Lander University, located in Greenwood, SC since 1904, assigned McMillan Pazdan Smith with the responsibility to design one of the largest campus buildings in its history.  The 90,000 SF, 300-bed Centennial Hall serves as the University’s flagship residential offering and is within close walking distance to the heart of campus.

McMillan Pazdan Smith’s design features 75 suites with four private bedrooms each and common spaces such as a 4,000 SF multi-purpose room, student study space and laundry facilities.  Sensitively positioned in a natural wooded setting, Centennial Hall is the University’s first LEED Certified Building.
