Christ Church Episcopal School engaged McMillan Pazdan Smith to design a new Performing Arts Center which improves theatrical performance spaces for the school and creates a “home base” for the school’s growing instrumental music program. The new building is approximately 40,000 SF and includes a 600-seat proscenium theatre with scene shop and dressing facilities, several large classrooms for instrument instruction and rehearsal, and a large lobby for pre-show functions. Construction began in early summer 2014 with a 14 month duration.
“We have been fortunate to work with Cary and McMillan Pazdan Smith. The result is stunning. Thank you for your expertise, creative imagination, patience, civility and discipline.”
