Clemson’s Lee Hall III Wins National Award

Lee Hall, home to the School of Design and Building and the Department of the Arts, received an AIA Honor Award from the American Institute of Architecture. The project is the first academic building in South Carolina to receive this national AIA recognition.

“It is fitting that Clemson’s nationally recognized architecture program now has a nationally recognized home.,” said Clemson President James F. Barker. “Lee III is a design achievement, proving that a building can be functional, energy-efficient, sustainable and beautiful.”
