Fulton County Library Group 1 Renovations Receive LEED Certification
McMillan Pazdan Smith showcases environmentally responsible design in its most beautiful and practical forms. We strive to design with environmental integrity at every opportunity, discovering cost-effective, sustainable solutions for all projects.
Our Atlanta office had the great opportunity to work alongside the Fulton County Library System, Hogan Construction, GTP Consulting Engineers, Budova Engineering, and Chasm Architecture, on seven library projects, part of the comprehensive Library Capital Improvement Program. These seven branches, the Dogwood Library; Kirkwood Library; Washington Park Library; West End Library; Evelyn G. Lowery Library at Cascade; and Sandy Springs Library all received LEED Gold certification, and the Roswell Library (pictured above) received LEED Silver.
Will Bryant, AIA, LEED AP, Project Architect in our Atlanta office, led the team’s efforts in developing, documenting, and guiding the LEED points and processes. This is an incredible achievement for Fulton County, the Library system, and the design-build team who developed and implemented sustainable solutions to meet the needs of the library and end users.
