The floor gleams and the smell of varnish is still fresh inside the newly renovated Spartanburg High School gym.
The new Freshman Academy wing on campus is bright and airy, with ceiling-to-floor windows that invite natural light into the hallways. The new computer and science labs are equipped with digital microscopes and other state-of-the-art technology intended to create a ?college-bound culture? for SHS students, academy principal Dr. Shawn Foster said.
