renderingLast Week McMillan Pazdan Smith along with our design build partners, Albion Construction, led a group of Georgia Tech's American Institute of Architecture Students on a construction tour of the Hapeville Library. The Hapeville Library is a new library facility for the Fulton County Library System rapidly approaching completion. It was great to engage with aspiring young designers and share with them a building under construction that addresses modern challenges for libraries, environmental sustainability and the unique context presented by the site. It also provided an opportunity for us to discuss the design build project delivery model and showcase the benefits of teamwork between general contractor and architect in a partnership-based delivery system. We are proud of our work alongside the Albion team and cannot wait for this project to open to the public!
