A local design team from McMillan Pazdan Smith (through the Fuqua & Partners Architects integration) designed the new office. It features modern workstations, private offices, multiple conference rooms, as well as collaborative areas and a large breakroom.

Akima’s news release states, “The new facility strengthens Akima’s ability to deliver mission-essential solutions while creating new opportunities for collaboration and innovation.”

The company is making significant investments into Huntsville’s economy by creating high-quality jobs that expand its local workforce in aerospace, IT, engineering, logistics, and mission support.

The project team included Huntsville’s Doster Construction (GC), with furniture solutions provided locally by Business Interiors.
