Verizon
McMillan Pazdan Smith’s collaborative and innovative thinking in concert with the developer and tenant culminated in a more environmentally sensitive and cost-effective stand-alone Verizon Wireless store. Serving as an optimum case study of how LEED and sustainable design practices can be successfully executed in smaller commercial buildings, this project challenged stereotypes by being one of a small percentage of retail buildings to attain LEED Certification.
The simplicity and size of this building type created the perfect opportunity for McMillan Pazdan Smith to incorporate numerous sustainable technologies in a cost-effective manner, proving that sustainable commercial retail architecture can be affordable and effectively done.
