Constantia Heuck Foils, a European fabricator of printed, foil based products for the food and pharmaceutical industries, commissioned McMillan Pazdan Smith to design a framework for future expansion and develop a strategy to make their operations more efficient and employee focused.
The resulting Master Plan, born from extensive programming and predesign services, recommended numerous options for growth on the site, additions to multiple process lines and the addition of necessary utilities to create improved, linear, flexible operations.
Following Master Plan recommendations, McMillan Pazdan Smith’s design build team designed and constructed a new 20,000 SF addition to accommodate a new processing line and added parking. The solution utilizes precast wall panels and a steel structure for durability, reuse and ease of erection. The work also involves 6,000 SF of interior modifications, including new locker rooms, a dining facility, an enhanced entry and additional management offices.
